At Citybond we care about our people. It is important to us that they enjoy coming
to work and therefore a great deal of time is devoted to ensuring that there is
a positive working environment and the right tools in place to support, develop
and reward them. All of us work as a team and we recognise that by working together
in unison we can achieve our business goals and job satisfaction.
We have a number of initiatives in place designed to develop our employee’s understanding
of the company, utilise their talents and encourage their commitment to the Company
goals, such as:
Open Door Communication
We encourage and promote an open door communication policy through which our people
have the opportunity of interacting at all levels including the Board of Directors
on a daily basis. We all work on a first name basis and our corporate ethos of “How
may I help you?” has consciously removed communication barriers or a defined hierarchy.
Staff Suggestion Scheme
Employees are invited to contribute to the operations of the Company by making suggestions
that improve the way we work and in return are rewarded for their initiative.
Our intranet is used as a tool to maintain a constant flow of communication throughout
the Group and ensure that everyone is kept updated with the latest news and information
as it unfolds. It also includes photographs of everyone and their interests and
hobbies so that when you need to speak to someone new, you can look them up first
and find out a little bit about them!
Our annual conference encourages teamwork and innovative thinking in a fun yet challenging
environment. It acts as a channel for employees to influence decision-making by
contributing to the planning and achievement of business goals.
In addition to our Annual Staff Recognition Awards we hold two staff social events,
in April and September, to provide the opportunity for staff to interact at all
levels in an informal environment.
