Last minute summer all-inclusive deals
With the sweltering heat and sunny skies, Britain is having one of its best summers yet. As if that wasn’t good enough news, jetsetters of the world will be delighted to find out this has led to plenty of amazing holiday deals.
You see, more people than ever are staycationing, so tour operators and travel companies are making their holidays more tempting with knock-down prices. And because it’s no easy task to tear ourselves away from busy parks and invitations for barbeques, we reckon an all-inclusive holiday is what it takes to justify the sacrifice.
Here’s the Citybond team’s guide to the best value all-inclusive holiday deals at the moment – and because we’re completely independent, they’re hand-picked with only your enjoyment in mind.
Live la dolce vita in Sardinia for 5 nights for £399
Every time is the right time to head to Sardinia. Featuring the beauty of a Mediterranean island with the charm of Italy, a stay at the four-star Baia Aranzos Beach Club Resort offers coastal views of the idyllic Sos Aranzos Bay and Tavolara Island. If the vistas weren’t enough, the resort has its own private beach, swimming pools, tennis courts plus two restaurants and two cafes to help you make use of your all-inclusive wristband for five nights and six days. Throw in flights from London Gatwick in August plus transfers, and it’s hard to believe it’s just £399 per person from Travelzoo.
Put the fun in Funchal for 7 nights for £559
Madeira might be known for its fortified wine and cake, but you’ll see it in a whole new light if you take up
TUI on their current offer. They have a week-long trip at the end of August to the cliff edge Roca Mar Hotel for the excellent price of £559 – and you can save another £50 with the code SUMMER50. The 99-room accommodation is contemporary and stylish, with dramatic sea views to boot. As well as the feast of all-inclusive offerings, from two bars to a steak house, there’s a bus running three times a day to the capital of Funchal. That’s perfect for a change of beautiful scenery.

Low-cost carrier EasyJet have a side-business in package holidays, and we love their current offer. Until 8 August, use the code GONOW to knock £100 off holidays in July and August that cost £1,300 or more. Those who love designer holidays without the designer price tag could make a beeline to Crete, where the Avra Collection Hermes Hotel awaits. You’ll be flown from Manchester to Crete, welcomed into an all-inclusive double room at the four-star properly, and given the run of the place for a full week – all for £764 a person if you use the code. Note that this doesn’t include transfers or bags, but take full advantage of the all-you-can-eat food and drink, and you’ll make that up in no time.

If you can’t take a full week off work right now, take a three-night jaunt to Majorca courtesy of Groupon. It’s a hotel that’s ideal for families, especially as they have a number of apartments to house large families together and a water park to keep kids entertained. It’s also ten minutes away from the beach, to make a different kind of splash. Foodies can look forward to it too; its culinary offerings include a traditional Spanish restaurant as well as their international buffet. Delicioso!
